What is pellet nutrition?
Pellet food is actually a kind of dog pellet for birds. It is a complete feed with all nutritional value compressed in one grain. The theory behind this is that the bird cannot select its food and thus receive unilateral nutrition.
Advantages of pellets
- The bird always gets all nutrients.
- Versatile nutrition because the bird can no longer select and only eat the same seeds.
- Less pollution / waste is said.
Disadvantages of pellets

- Some birds will not switch to pellets
- More expensive than regular seed mixes

Other pellet feed
Another pellet feed that you see a lot is that of NutriBird. This one is a lot cheaper, but usually you pay for what you get.
If you still want to feed NutriBird, you can find it cheaply at bol.com . Please note that there is also hand-rearing food called NutriBirds, which serves to poultice and raise by hand for the bird.
